For those Swiss in Wales who are members of one of the regional Swiss Club this is an additional site where Swiss in Wales News can be found and events are posted. Unlike Facebook it is a private site, open only to signed up and approved members. To join the site you need to receive an invitation link. Swiss Review by Post or E Mail?
Swiss Rewiew now available in electronic form. click here Up to now, Swiss citizens living abroad had the publication delivered directly to their homes by post.From now on all Swiss citiziens living abroad whose e mail is known at their Embassy will receive Swiss Review by electronic mail from this year onward. Anybody who still wishes to receive the printed version should let Swiss Review know.(click here)
However, we would appreciate if Internet users could waive their right to a postal copy by registering for the online version of the Swiss Review. (click here)

News from OSA/ASO

OSA-Info is sent in German or French to Swiss clubs, societies and official representations over the world. 6 times a year, it informs by e-mail on OSA activities and on news that are relevant for the public of the Fifth Switzerland. Info5 is sent in German or French to the Swiss media and institutions. 6 times a year, it informs them by e-mail about news from the Fifth Switzerland.
With these two newsletters, the OSA leads a communication especially shaped for its varied publics. Its aim is therefore to inform the Fifth Switzerland through OSA-Info, but also to assure, through Info5, that the Fifth Switzerland be represented in all the fields that make the public opinion in Switzerland.

![]() Important notice: The new biometric passport The introduction of passports containing electronically stored biometric information is part of an international commitment Switzerland has undertaken. Fulfilment of this commitment will ensure freedom of travel for Swiss citizens in the future. The Swiss federal parliament took the necessary decisions during its 2008 session, and a request to oppose these decisions by referendum was accepted on 17 October 2008 For the result of the vote click here Important Notice As from 1 March 2010 Switzerland will only issue biometric passports (Model 10) containing one picture of the face and two digital fingerprints, electronically registered. Please note that current passports 03 or 06 remain valid until their expiry date. However, be aware that entry regulations may vary from country to country. Further details on the application process will be available in the coming weeks on the webpage of the Swiss Embassy in London: click here as well as in the January edition of the Swiss Review.
